What is Beta Cyclodextrin?
Beta Cyclodextrin (β-CD) is a cyclic oligosaccharide composed of seven glucose molecules with a cavity structure. It is widely used in industry as it has excellent properties for binding different organic compounds, such as lipophilic and hydrophobic molecules. The large central cavity in the molecule can be filled with guest molecules, allowing it to form a cyclic structure that traps the guest molecule, thus providing an effective and safe way to isolate, purify and protect it.
Beta Cyclodextrin Benefits:
Beta Cyclodextrin (BCD) has been found to provide numerous benefits, such as improved solubility and increased stability of bioactive molecules. BCD has also been found to improve the pharmacokinetics of drugs, making them more effective and longer-lasting in the body.
Benefits Include:
- Fitness & Sports
- Amino Acids
- Bone & Joint Support
- Hair, Skin & Nails
