What is FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides)?
Fructo-oligosaccharides are chains of plant sugars. They are taken from asparagus, Jerusalem artichokes, and soybeans or produced in the laboratory. People use these sugars to make medicine. Fructo-oligosaccharides are commonly used by mouth for constipation.
